My name is Hanna and I’m a camp person.
While I was growing up I was lucky enough to have parents with the coolest job in the world: camp directors. So from the time I was 2 on I have grown up in a camp environment. Over the years I have been involved in 5 different camps and currently I’m the swim coordinator at Eagle’s Landing Day Camp in North Brunswick, NJ.
I’ve noticed over the years that camp people are an interesting breed, we all have our crazy stories that those people who never went to camp just don’t seem to understand. So I started this blog as a tribute to those crazy tales and a place to share and swap them. Please feel free to comment, contribute and reach out to me to have your stories shared as well!
A little bit about me as a person outside of camp:
I’m a senior at Boston University graduating this May with a degree in Public Relations. I’m a Resident Assistant for the Performing Arts House which I may or may not have given a Disney theme. (I did.) I also am an Alternative Spring Break Coordinator through our Community Service Center. I love adventure activities – sky diving, canyoning, white water rafting, etc – but sadly I don’t get to do them much in NJ.
Take a look around and let me know what you think I should add to make this blog even more awesome!
